Data: Why Selling on Roblox is Smarter for Brands Than a Website or Store

The Forever 21 Roblox Store

๐Ÿ“Š Last week, I wrote about the importance of data within Roblox.

I explained how Roblox can be a place where brands learn everything from their customersโ€”not just what they buy, but also how they move in space, what cues trigger changes in behavior, or how to guide their movements.

๐ŸŽฎ Roblox offers this potential because it allows players to move, interact, and purchase in a 3D space.

๐Ÿ’ก While sharing these thoughts with Dario Di Zanni, one of our first subscribers and a long-time friend, he made me realize something even more significant.

โ“ Not only can Roblox provide invaluable data for brands, but Dario also pointed out the missed opportunity for brands that aren't leveraging this platform.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Why are brands choosing to only capture information from the sale, going direct to consumer, instead of gathering comprehensive data from their customers? This data could help them learn more and provide greater value with every new launch, product, and experience.

๐Ÿ’ผ Yes, brands need to sell.

A Roblox experience won't hinder that; on the contrary, it will enable customers on Roblox to purchase from brands. Even better, it will provide brands with so much additional information about their customers that it will allow them to create better experiences, make better decisions, and develop better products, ultimately selling more to a larger audience.

๐Ÿš€ Being on Roblox requires the boldness to take that step.

Once you do, the rewards are plentiful. In Roblox, fortune (both in terms of power and earnings) favors the bold.
